Katherine earned her Bachelor of Arts from Hope University in Fullerton, California, after completing her undergraduate studies at Baylor University in Texas. During her time at Baylor, she was actively involved in the Family Readiness Group (FRG) at Fort Hood, Texas, where she provided support to military families, created newsletters, and organized events. After returning to California, she served as an executive assistant to the CEO of Majestic Realty and several senior executives. Her involvement with the Land of the Free Foundation further highlights her commitment to supporting armed service personnel and veterans transitioning to civilian life.

Beyond her professional achievements, Katherine is deeply engaged in her community. She is an active participant in Ruck for Vets, which raises awareness about veteran mental health issues. Additionally, she has volunteered for over three years as a coach at her local Little League baseball, promotes youth voter participation, and assists with events aimed at encouraging young adults to vote in upcoming elections.
